Beechwood Helium Balloons
and Balloon Inflation Instructions
You have just rented a helium cylinder from Beechwood Helium. We want this to be not only an enjoyable experience, but also a safe experience. Please follow these safety precautions closely, helium is not flammable but it is under considerable pressure so it can be dangerous.
1. Never transport cylinder with helium valve attached, this can be dangerous, and could damage an expensive valve.
2. Secure cylinder in a safe place that is not exposed to high foot traffic when filling balloons. If the cylinder is knocked over it can be very dangerous.
3. Secure the cylinder in your car, do not let it bang around. These cylinders are heavy and can damage your car if they are not secured. Beechwood Helium assumes no liability for any damage caused by a helium cylinders, or the loading of a helium cylinder. We will help load the cylinder as a service to the customer, but the customer assumes all liability for any damage while being loaded or transported.
Safety warning:
All helium cylinders need to be secured; this is the renter's responsibility. Helium is a non-toxic, non-flammable gas, however it is dangerous to breathe in the gas from the cylinder, or even from an inflated balloon. We recommend that you transport the helium cylinder in the trunk of your car. If you must transport it in the passenger compartment, make sure it is secured and you have at least one window open at all times.
Never leave a helium cylinder in a hot car.!!
NEVER DELIBERATELY INHALE BALLOON GAS AS IT AN ASPHYXIANT AND IS AT HIGH PRESSURE. Use in open air or in a well ventilated room away from any fire risks and sources of heat. ALWAYS USE THE APPROPRIATE BALLOON FILLER REGULATOR.
